These terms apply when you use Chonky, Chonky Live, and related invitation pages. Chonky is made by Russell Ong. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

The game

Chonky is an entertainment and wellness game, not a medical, fitness, or safety service. Goals, reminders, step totals, and estimated progress are informational. Pay attention to your surroundings, choose activity appropriate for you, and seek qualified medical advice when needed.

Free play and optional purchases

• The local walking adventure can be played without an account or purchase.
• Coins are earned through play and are not sold. Gems have free earning paths; optional Gem packs are a convenience for cosmetic and decorative features.
• Purchases never buy verified steps, rankings, Main Story progress, or combat power. Gem packs contain a fixed disclosed amount and are not random rewards.
• Permanent extras are one-time purchases. Once their receipt is verified, they remain associated with the Apple Account that bought them, subject to Apple's services and these terms.

Gem packs

Gem packs are consumable App Store purchases. Delivery requires Sign in with Apple and an online connection so RevenueCat and Chonky Live can validate the purchase and add the exact amount to your wallet. Delivery is idempotent: the same transaction cannot grant twice. Deleting an account or spending Gems does not make a consumable purchase restorable. If delivery is delayed, follow the steps on Support instead of purchasing again.

Chonky Club subscription

• Chonky Club is offered monthly and yearly. The current localized price is shown before confirmation.
• An introductory free trial, when offered and eligible, converts to the selected paid plan unless canceled before the trial ends.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before that period ends.
• You can manage or cancel in Apple Account subscription settings. Canceling stops future renewals; access normally continues until the paid period ends.

Accounts and online play

Sign in with Apple is required for Chonky Live features. Keep your device and Apple Account secure. You may not automate play, falsify steps, exploit purchases or referrals, harass other players, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access. We may restrict online features to protect players and service integrity. You may delete your account in the app.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Chonky available but do not promise uninterrupted service or that every online feature will always remain unchanged. Safety-gated online features may pause when their server contract cannot be verified. Economy changes will not remove verified permanent purchases or silently convert a fixed purchase into a random reward.

Payments, refunds, and Apple

Apple processes App Store purchases and controls billing, taxes, refunds, and subscription management. Refund requests must be made through Apple's Report a Problem service. These terms supplement Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which is incorporated here. If these terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA, Apple's standard EULA controls to the extent of the conflict.

Intellectual property

Chonky's software, characters, pixel art, writing, audio, and branding are owned by Russell Ong or their respective licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the app under these terms and Apple's standard EULA. You may share screenshots and personal creations made with built-in sharing tools, but may not resell or redistribute the app's assets.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Chonky is provided as available without additional warranties. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, unsafe activity, lost progress caused by unsupported device modification, or third-party services outside our control. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
